Infrared or "Thermal Cameras" can detect differences in temperature between different surfaces or areas of your home.  This will give you a visual image of the how hot or cold air is moving throughout your home. We will provide a thermal blueprint of your house so to speak.  In winter the cooler areas will appear darker in the interior of your home. This allows a trained thermographer to look for air leaks, moisture in the walls,ceiling or floor, missing insulation, electrical issues and even trouble shoot plumbing problems. (see images below) 

The cumulative cold air leaks in a structure can be the same as having an open window in your home. This is where Thermal Imaging shines as you are able visualize and capture images of  how cold air  is moving throughout your home. The written report can then be used as a roadmap for correcting issues and obtaining energy efficiency in your home. You can save money and increase your homes comfort level at the same time. 

We also do commissioning scans to audit work that has been completed in the past.

2. We will image your exterior, interior, attic, basement or crawlspace * access permitting. 
3. A written report with images, notes, and a summary will be provided
4. a follow up report review and consultation via computer will be provided upon request.
5. The next step is up to you. You may feel you can take care of any repairs needed yourself. Or you may want to have a contractor perform the work. Either way you should have an excellent idea of what needs to be done.
